I have been looking for a place to live for a good while and I sort of lucked out, because this place probably would never have stayed on the market for very long. It is not perfect, but it is very inexpensive compared to every other place I have looked at. The best thing about it is that I can get to the office in less than 10 minutes without a bus or a train getting involved. The place is above a restaurant with a good TCM in Singapore clinic across the street if I happen to need that. My boss goes there when his back hurts him and they give him acupuncture, which sort of frightens me to be honest. Those needles are long and sharp, or at least they look really sharp. That is probably better than being stuck with a dull needle, but I do not care much for the idea. I suppose that I would give it a try if I thought it would really help me out.
At any rate the place below is a really good restaurant that serves a wide variety of food on the menu. I go there for lunch often and on occasion I will go by on my way home and pick something up to take home for supper. Of course they are pretty much throwing me out of the place where I live right now. The landlord is going to sell it to someone who intends to wreck the place and everything else around it so that they can put up a skyscraper. That really seemed like a bad thing before, but now I am going to save a good deal of money and time. That suits me fine. I think the apartment is about the same size for less rent.
